ERIKS UK wins Britain’s Top Employer Award

ERIKS UK has been certified as one of Britain’s Top Employers by the CRF Institute, an organisation that identifies top performers in Human Resources.  The award recognises the outstanding level of employee care offered by ERIKS across several categories, all of which were observed during independent research conducted by the CRF Institute.  This is a great benefit to ERIKS customers, since better trained staff, a higher retention of experts and proper development and nurturing of talent delivers the best possible service.

ERIKS UK had to meet some exceptionally high standards to achieve Britain’s Top Employer status in categories such as Working Conditions, Training and Development, Career Development, and Culture Management.  Only those organisations that meet the stringent research criteria in these and other categories receive a Britain’s Top Employer certification.

The award recognises ERIKS’ proactive, positive attitude to managing Human Resources, which benefits employees through the support and personal development provided, and strengthens ERIKS by attracting and retaining a talented and happy workforce.  Notable features of ERIKS submission to the certification committee included the new Employee Assistance Programme, which assists staff in gaining the professional support and advice they need to solve personal problems free of charge.

“ERIKS UK has consistently shown that it values talent by making sure it has outstanding employee offerings in place,” commented Eleanor Nickerson, Manager of UK Operations for the CRF Institute.  “We have seen a wide range of creative initiatives, from working conditions to performance-management programmes that are well-thought-out and truly aligned with the culture of the company.”

The Britain’s Top Employers 2013 winners’ ceremony took place on March 21st at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel in London, where ERIKS UK Corporate HR Officer Helen Hill and HR Director Denny Wood collected the award.

“I’m absolutely thrilled that we’ve won the award,” said Helen.  “It’s affirmation that we already do a lot of very positive things for our staff but this is just the beginning.  Now we want to take it further and see where we can go to make things even better.”
